The Chicken Elders are the rulers of the various regions of Morning Land. Their rooster call summons the morning for their respective region in which they reside.

In Billy Hatcher and the Giant Egg, the Chicken Elders are captured and turned into golden eggs by the Crows. Without their abilities, Morning Land is doomed into an eternal night.

- The Chicken Elders' names are derived from the Hawaiian word for the colors they are wearing. Oma-Oma wears green (oma'oma'o), Ponee wears purple (poni), etc.
